TEHRAN -- Head of Iran Atomic Energy Organization says the West has backed out on what it initially agreed to in the course of the ongoing nuclear talks.

“They have backed out on some of the topics we have already agreed on,” Ali Akbar Salehi said Sunday.
He nevertheless stated that the nuclear talks are pushing forth well, adding, “We seek an agreement, but not at any price.”

Salehi further said that Iran welcomes relations with the world, adding that the country is a powerful part to global equations.

He went on to say that through the nuclear case, Iran has gained much so far. “If they had not addressed our nuclear case we might not have been able to progress as rapidly as we have, justifying the saying that misfortune does not always come to injure,” he stated.
